With the experience of 3 generations in the production of Txakoli, they have always been characterized by respect for the oenological tradition.
In 2009 they built the new winery, incorporating the latest technology, to achieve a txakoli with unique characteristics that evokes the green slopes of Getaria, from where the grapes are extracted: 95% Hondarrabi Zuri and 5% Hondarrabi Beltza.
The vineyards, mostly located in Getaria, are between 5 and 60 years old. The grape, of extraordinary quality, is planted in vineyard and oriented towards the South.
Txakoli Izaro is made with Hondarribi Zuri grapes selected from the best vineyards of the property, using the batonage technique in its preparation.
Txakoli Izaro is intense, with light notes of fruit (pineapple, peach, …) and floral hints. Fresh and elegant attack, unctuous, and with a balanced finish.
