Francisco Uriarte’s great-grandparents, at the end of the 19th century, were the initiators of the planting of vineyards, whose grapes they produced in the Eguskitza de Fika farmhouse. Following its tradition and applying the most modern techniques, we continue to make Txakoli.
There is something magical in choosing a wine. Its colour, aroma, acidity and body are important nuances to harmonize the selected dishes. However, there are no immovable dogmas. At Bodegas Uriarte we know that taste is very subjective. As a result of our experience and love for a job well done, we open a window to the innovations of the wineries with the greatest personality, without forgetting the most acclaimed classics of the Basque Country.
Uriarte txakoli is straw yellow in color, sometimes with greenish hues. The nose is dominated by fruity aromas. Pleasantly fresh sensation on the palate with the constant presence of a cheerful, enriching and pleasant greenery that lasts.
