Txakoli Magalarte
The Magalarte winery has 9 hectares of its own vineyard located in the Greater Bilbao region, in the heart of the Txorierri Valley, specifically in Lezama.
The climate is mesothermic, moderate in terms of temperatures and rainy, called temperate-humid climate without dry season or Atlantic.
The clay-loam soils on south-facing slopes support our strains of native varieties “Hondarrabi Zuri and” Hondarrabi zuri zerratia “and our minority varieties such as” Petit Manseng “and” Riesling “.
You have the most innovative technologies for the production of txakoli, such as pre-fermentation cryomaceration with dry ice at very low temperatures or pressing in a nitrogen inert atmosphere. The aging on its lees is carried out in French oak barrels.
TASTING NOTES
Straw yellow with greenish tones, clean and bright. Franco on the nose, medium-high intensity, varietal character highlighting white fruit and a balsamic touch. Tasty on the palate, balanced and fresh enhancing its aromas. Wide and long-lasting aftertaste.
