Gaintza Txakolina is a traditional and authentic wine. This wine comes from the best vineyards in the region, the most expressive of the winery and with an unmistakable personality. The philosophy of the winery is to bet on sustainable agriculture, being respectful of its legacy. They make the wines with grapes from plots worked and cultivated with integrated production viticulture.

Gaintza Rose is a pink txakoli made from a selection of Hondarrabi Beltz and Hondarrabi Zuri grapes. It has a light alcohol content and an expression of softness and freshness. It is a wine that, due to its captivating aroma and finesse, is ideal to drink alone but also with tapas and sweets.

ELABORATION
Its production is limited since we have a small percentage of Hondarrabi Beltza (red grape) among our vineyards. We take great care and put all our soul in the selection of the grape. The harvest takes place in one day, at its optimal harvest time. After destemming, maceration and low pressure pressing, the grape must is statically settling cold. Fermented in stainless steel and with temperature control at 14oC, to keep the endogenous carbon dioxide of natural origin produced in dissolution. Finally, it is aged on its own lees for 4 to 5 months.

TASTING NOTE
Pale peach with pink reflections. In the glass it is clean and bright with a medium intensity. Presence of very fine bubbles due to the production process. Aromas of red fruits with intense fresh notes of wild strawberries, blueberries and cherries. Sweet and silky on the palate, balanced with its natural acidity that provides freshness and medium persistence. It has a light alcohol content and an expression of softness and freshness, enhancing the qualities of the local red grape.

PAIRING
It is a wine that, due to its captivating aroma, is ideal to drink without accompanying food. To enjoy its fullness as a pink Txakoli. We recommend serving it at a temperature of 6º to 8ºC. Ideal to accompany appetizers, croquettes, grilled vegetables, rice or with chocolate.
