Txakoli Berez GALANTA
The vineyards are located in Galdakao (Bizkaia) where the Txakoli Berez Galanta is made with the aim of transmitting the essence of our land to the world. The project, which fuses tradition and avant-garde in a privileged natural environment, is made locally from the field to the final product, at the Berez Galanta Winery. Everything materializes in a tall Txakoli with excellence, perfect to accompany the most demanding gastronomy.
The winery has an extension of 12 Ha, with a current production of 6 Ha, in a trellis system. Since 2011 there have been the first plantations of the Hondarrabi Zuri grape variety. In 2019, the production of quality wines began, with aging on its fine lees, resulting in a txakoli with a strong aroma of fresh fruit, floral essences, with body and structure. It has recently been qualified by the Denomination of Origin as “Txakoli Berezia”.
Historically, wine has been part of our culture, around which we gather for our celebrations. “Kuadrilla Galanta” is what a wine distributor very close to the family called the group of friends at the time. Hence the name of the winery, which carries the essence of a family that has put all its heart into the project.
