The Amunategi Winery has cultivated the vine and elaborated txakoli for centuries, as was the custom in many villages in Bizkaia, and in particular in those that met favorable physiographic and edaphic conditions, such as the Amunategi farmhouse. This privileged location, in conjunction with tradition and passion for wine, and the coupage of the cultivated grape varieties, make the Amunategi txakolí a wine with a constant quality range over the years, with an aroma, flavor and texture differentiated.
The Txakoli Amunategi has a bright yellow color, with a somewhat intense, fresh aroma and notes of green fruits.
In the mouth it is fresh, tasty, somewhat fatty and fruity, with spicy nuances and fine lees.
The grape varieties used, which are grown entirely on the property, are the following: Hondarribi zuri and Hondarribi zuri zerratia (Petit Corbou).
The suitable temperature for consumption is 8-9º C.
