Description

Txakoli Ameztoi Kirkilla

Since 1820 he has been elaborating and producing txakoli for the Ameztoi family. Old barrels, the smell of wood, the noise of bottles and laughter. That was the old Ameztoi and he used to gather a lot of people. In fact, the Ameztoi family has been known since ancient times by the nickname “Kirkilla” (cricket), a symbol of joy, happiness and pride.
Over time they have grown and improved their product until they achieved their own expression, an authentic txakoli to the delight of the most demanding palates. Always maintaining the autochthonous varieties Hondarrabi Zuri and Hondarrabi Beltza as the basis for the elaboration of their products. Ameztoi are five generations with the family tradition in the elaboration of txakoli

ELABORATION
White wine made exclusively with Hondarrabi Zuri grapes. Fermented in the traditional style in French oak barrels of 600 liters. Resounding and round in all its phases, highlighting its minerality.

TASTING NOTES
Txakoli Ameztoi is elegant and clear. White color of the original grape nuanced by light dark yellow tones from fermentation and rest. High aromatic intensity nourished by hints of ripe fruit. On the palate it is persistent and fresh, with a balanced and sustained finish with hints of citrus and apples.

PAIRING
It is ideal for fish of all kinds and shellfish. Excellent with sushi, oysters and fish tempura. Service temperature 6º-10º.
