Description

Txakoli  AITAREN

They make AITAREN Txakoli in their own winery. For this we have our fudres and everything necessary to make an artisan and respectful elaboration with the grape and with the wine, we only work by gravity, without the use of transfer pumps, which we would say traditional method.

ELABORATION
Txakoli AITAREN is made with Hondarrabi Zuri grapes in our own vineyards, with yields of around 5,500 kg / ha. The harvest is done manually using 15 kg boxes, which allows an initial selection of the grapes in situ. In 2018, the grapes were harvested in excellent health. The excessive spring rains forced us to watch the vines very closely. However, the good climatic conditions in which the harvest took place guarantee the extraordinary quality of this season’s wines, obtaining a very aromatic, well-balanced txakoli with a splendid color.
Clay slopes facing southeast on sandstone and marl, with excellent drainage and exposure to sunlight.

TASTING NOTE
Pale green with bright hints. Strong aromas of ripe white fruit, almost tropical, on the nose, along with minerals, slightly salty touches. Very subtle touch of wood. Pleasant and fresh on the palate. Good fat structure, well integrated acidity With a slight carbonic touch, a persistent finish and a pleasant aftertaste.

PAIRING
Perfect to pair with any type of grilled fish, seafood, tuna, anchovies, roast lamb, dark chocolate, tiramisu …
